I've been checking all morning for the July tickets which were supposed to go on sale (or you could request them at any rate) this morning at 10 a.m. At 10 a.m., the page hadn't been refreshed yet. 11 a.m….nope. Noon…nothing.
Every time I checked, the page hadn't been updated yet so one could request tickets.
Just now checked again and yep - the page has been updated and all the tickets are gone. And probably in the hands of scalpers who had their bots trolling the page since 10 a.m. waiting to pounce.
Sigh. You know, a person could have a chance at tickets if the people maintaining the website would just be ready when they say they're going to be ready!
Oh, well, rant over. It wasn't like I could really afford $800 for a ticket anyway, but at least you could claim $600 of it on your tax return. I wonder if anyone but scalpers even got tickets, since the only way to actually request them was to sit and just keep refreshing the page (since it wasn't up when it said it would be), and most people are at work on Wednesday and can't just sit there and constantly refresh a page on the off chance that it'll come up with the request form. :-P
