Yes, I definitely was in PAL JOEY. Do you if he was wearing a suit or a tux in the dance sequences?
This definitely sounds like a movie for all the old Broadway broads who are living in Florida and complaining about their knees, feet, ibs, indigestion, children who never visit, grandchildren who don't call, the kibbitzer and cheat at the mah jong game. Do you know when it will be shown in Florida?

My recollection at the moment was a suit.
I believe the film will be going into wider distribution in a few weeks. I understand it will open in LA and San Francisco in early July, then broader shortly thereafter.
Could it be I saw you?

Actually, I was displayed at the recent Balanchine exhibition at Lincoln Center. Did you see it?
The sequence shown was probably YOU MUSN'T KICK IT AROUND. It was a lengthy dance piece that closed SCENE I.
Just got back from seeing this - YOU ALL MUST GO!!! You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll realize we were all born 40 years too late (or so...)!!

Rathnait, Isn't it great!
Glad you enjoyed it.
BWW.com will soon be publishing my interview with Rick McKay, producer/director/editor/interviewer, etc.
It is a rare treat for anyone who loves American theatre.
I just saw it today. What a wonderful tribute. And some amazingly talented performers. Shirley MacClaine was just adorable, as always.
I don't want to give too much away. It's beautiful, sad, shocking, nostalgic, upbeat.....go and enjoy!
I just finally caught up with this film here in L.A.
If you live in a town where it's not showing, pack a suitcase, say goodbye to your parents, and move to a town where it IS
absolute heaven (and hell...so sobering...but also exhilarating!)

My cousin saw this film and loved it
I saw a screening of the film days before it was released. It's amazing. I loved hearing the stories of a Broadway that doesn't exist anymore.
