Broadwaybox ? is it good

just curious

Ive bought tickets off of theatermania and other discounts sites but I was curious is broadway box good? the tickets are legit right?

I know this is a dumb question but I wanted to make sure

They just provide you with the discount codes. You still buy them through either TM or TC.

really my friend was looking for tarzan tickets and it sent you to buying it to another website different then Ticketmaster and whatnot

It's only discount codes (most are also available on playbill.com or TheatreMania) and most times they'll provide a link straight to the ticket site (ticketmaster, telecharge, broadwayoffers, etc.) but the codes are great. I use them all the time.

I almost always use it, except for a few times when I did plan to see a show in advance and just got something at TKTS. I've never had any problems.

how is the ticket finder on the site? the seats seem abnormally cheap...are they good? my friend is trying to get tickets to tarzan and they dont give any codes just a ticket finder

Go and buy the cheap Tarzan Tickets from the Broadwaybox ticket finder. In August i bought 4 tickets at $58 each. Center orchestra!! could not believe how good the seats were. I have asked them about the tickets: Broadwaybox found out that Tarzan tickets on the secondary market are lower than box office, probably brokers dumping their large stocks. I noticed they have now posted the whole story on the Tarzan page on broadwaybox.

They list discount codes for most of the shows on Broadway that link you to www.broadwayoffers.com. This is where you type in the code and it is the same thing as telecharge. Or you type the code in on the ticketmaster page.

For shows that do not offer discount codes, Broadwaybox links you to a secondary market. In this case, I think it is TicketsBoxUsa.com. This is not run through telecharge or ticketmaster and they are ticket brokers. In the case of Tarzan, the brokers aren't able to get rid of their tickets, so they have been selling them for very low prices.

It's been hit and miss for me, but I have gotten a few great discounts via the codeslinks listed there. It's always worth a look.

I got 5th row on the aisle for Tarzan for $20 on BroadwayBox with only 2 days notice. I love that site. (better than the show...)
