I will be in New York next week, and I am wondering if it is worthwhile to attend this. Can anyone give me more information than what I have found on the website. Thanks in advance. I am seeing 5 plays, and would only be able to go on Tuesday afternoon
Funny as hell, an only in New York side of show business -- definitely something to tell the folks back home about. It's essentially a series of skits put on by specific shows. For instance, a few years ago the girls in ANNIE had a rap battle with the boys from NEWSIES, featuring a Duel of the Roosevelts, FDR vs. Teddy. And then that's followed by the presentation of their hat/bonnet.
Tuesday'sa great day to go as you get a longer show. It's the awards presentation day and more celeb judges and speakers are involved. As for the Show itself, if you go through the Bcefa YouTube channel you can check out videos from past years
