Mr. Brochu is mistaken. Zero Mostel(probably the greatest performing genius I have ever seen and got to meet (!)) may have been the first actor to win 3 Tonys for acting, but he is not the only one in history........Off the top of my head, Boyd Gaines has won 3 Tonys for acting.

Wasn't Brochu saying that Mr. Mostel had won three Tonys in the "Best" Category? Boyd Gaines has three, but two are in the featured category. Two of Mostel's Tonys were for Best Actor in a Musical ("Forum" "Fiddler") and Best Actor in a Play ("Rhinoceros")which I recently saw on film. He appeared with Gene Wilder and was unbelievable. How lucky you were to have not only seen him but have met him. I was nine when he died.
