For anyone wondering, Brooke Tansley (who is replacing CCR in September in BATB) is currently in Hairspray as Penny. I saw her a couple of weeks ago. She has a great voice ( a must for playing Penny if you ask me) and she was hilarious. She'll be a good Belle.

What Playbill were you looking at? Unfortunately, Brooke was let go back in June and replaced by Jenn Gambatese. In a recent Connecticut newspaper article about her going into Beauty and the Beast, Brooke mentioned she was fired from Hairspray.

Sorry, my brain shut off for a moment. i meant a couple of months ago. Don't ask me why I wrote weeks, I guess that just means it's going to be one of those days.
