I went to the website and even did a search, but I didn't get a story confirming Brooke in Beauty and the Beast.

haha. good for her. i didn't hear good things about her as penny, but hey it's a completely different role. you can't always believe what you hear too. congrats to brooke!

The first time I saw her as Penny, she was brand new to the role and she hadn't found her Penny yet. I went to see it again a few weeks later and she did a great job. I think if she had stayed for longer she would have gotten even better. When I met her after the show she was such a sweet person and I told her how well I thought she did ("You were awesome.") and she seemed very happy. She had a beautiful necklace that her mom had made her for her birthday, the monday before, with a shiney penny in it :) Very pretty. Anyway, I really like Brooke and I think she'll make a great Belle :) Yey for Brooke!! -Penny

i'm glad to hear such good things about Brooke, because I'm planning to get tickets to see her sometime in December (hope she's still there) for my birthday... cause I can't stand Christy Carlson Romano and BATB is my childhood favorite.

Brooke is currently contracted to play Belle through early January, so unless she's on vacation in December, you should get to see her!

FYI: Brooke trained at the Connecticut Dance Theatre. She has also danced with the Moscow State Ballet. One of her dance trainers was Shamil Yagudin, Ballet Master of the Bolshoi Ballet
