Can someone tell me who is singing in "Streetsinger"? I know Eden is the female, but is the male Cleavent Derricks or the man who played the Street Singer in Denver?
Also, who is singing "Heart Behind These Hands"? The info doesnt give a name. Thanks!

The man in the sampler CD is David Jennings from the Denver Cast.
originated his role during the N.Y. workshop
production. Credits include: Jake in 'Side Show' (2002 L.A. Ovation Award
Nominee), Coalhouse Walker, Jr in 'Ragtime,' John in 'Miss Saigon,' The Duke
in 'Play On!,' Clopin in 'Notre Dame de Paris,' 'Once upon a Mattress' (w/
Sarah Jessica Parker), and 'Civil War' (opposite Larry Gatlin). Films
include: 'The Sleepless' and 'Boomerang.' Concerts include performances with
Aretha Franklin, Chaka Kahn, and Michael Feinstein, and appearances before
King Hassan II in Morocco and President adn Mrs. Clinton at the White House.

Posted: 12/27/04 at 12:01pmDave Jennings was the streetsinger in DENVER. But he couldn't do the Broadway show. By the time they made the sampler CD, they had a streetsinger UNDERSTUDY, but not an actual streetsinger (they had already found Cleavant Derricks, but he was still rehersing the role). So for the sampler CD, Horace V Rogers, who is ths streetsinger understudy, sings instead of Cleavant or David.

Posted: 12/27/04 at 9:27pmIn NYC, her streetsinger outfit was a long, plain white dress with orange tape around it. But that just wasn't doing it, it wasn't all that extravagant, so they designed a new one, which is what she wears today.
