Thank you, Ustadance! The show is not dreadful or dated in the least. I encourage anyone who is having reservations about the show to check it out before putting it down. This show is VERY unique. You're watching a musical within a musical and the line between the two starts to blur from time to time throughout the show. Like I've said, "Brooklyn" really drew me in and genuinely touched me.
If you STILL insist on the idea being dreadful or dated after watching it, then you really have to marvel at the performers. I always comment on Eden, but all 5 of them are phenomenal! As I've been typing this, I've been thinking that this show is actually one of the LEAST dated shows I can think of. There are several other current hits on Braodway right now that are much more dated than "Brooklyn" will prove to be. I hope my love for the show is contagious so that many more of you will get "Brooklyn in the blood, a fire in your eyes!"
"You act like you're cleaner than the Board of Heath, but you're just a fame ho just like me. You know it...and you LOVE it!"
