It won't. There's no possible way.
Mef, when are you seeing ALL SHOOK UP?
re: Brooklyn to receive best Musical Tony Nomination!#8
Posted: 2/20/05 at 10:14pmI have no idea. I might not even go. I have about less than zero interest in it.
re: Brooklyn to receive best Musical Tony Nomination!#9
Posted: 2/20/05 at 10:21pmI don't have ANY interest in it, but I'm seeing it Thursday. I went to try to go see the first preview tonight, and it was completely sold out - that's pretty impressive.
re: Brooklyn to receive best Musical Tony Nomination!#10
Posted: 2/20/05 at 10:23pmTotally sold out? I'm shocked. If I go, I'll take advantage of the $19.55 balcony seats. My interest exited stage right when Jarrod Emick exited the production.

Posted: 2/20/05 at 10:31pmYou puzzle me, munk. Why go to a show you don't have "ANY interest" in?

In hopes that he'll be presently surprised?
I think every show deserves at least a chance.
EDIT: I am SO stupid. I was thinking of CCBB, not ASU. i'll just delete this part. Sorry.

Mamie, weekends will quite frequently sell out when weekdays are dismal - also, it's a holiday weekend.
Munk, why do you see everything & why are you sad that ASU is SRO? (parenthetically, "we've" never been through this before - I've read a lot of your posts as they're virtually unavoidable, but I haven't read them all).

"SRO crowds last night and today."
When I saw GV (with comps) they were selling SRO but the house was maybe 50% filled (45% got comps)

I think he was talking about GV not ASU.
re: Brooklyn to receive best Musical Tony Nomination!#21
Posted: 2/20/05 at 11:53pmNo one ever said All Shook Up was SRO....someone said GOOD VIBRATIONS was. And I said that's sad - not I'm sad. GOOD VIBRATIONS doesn't deserve to be running, and it's sad that people are still going to see it.
re: Brooklyn to receive best Musical Tony Nomination!#22
Posted: 2/21/05 at 1:16amWell Little Women is officially in the red as well...so I wonder how long that will last.
re: Brooklyn to receive best Musical Tony Nomination!#23
Posted: 2/21/05 at 1:22amLittle Women is still breaking even. We'll see how long that lasts as the competition increases in the next month or two.
