Brooklynn Tour this Year?

I was just wondering if the brooklynn tour is going to happen this year? Last year on the website it said 2007 dates will be announced. Anyone have any information

It is still in the works. They had such a top noch tour cast last summer I am excited to see what will happen.

I was told that an expanded version of the tour was only going to go out on the road this season if the limited one last year with Diana Degarmo and co. performed well enough to warrant it. Considering that version played to mid-size houses (with extremely low ticket prices) and still wasn't able to sell, I doubt we'll be seeing it this year again as previously planned.

From the reviews during the summer run last year the consensus was great cast but the book was weak. The same reason it died on Broadway. It needs a rewrite before it is presented again. When the tour was announced last spring, since the book was known to be weak,you would think that they would have spent the previous 2 years improving it. Didn't happen.It was doomed from the start especially when every town it hit it was mentioned in the press it had a weak book and closed soon on Broadway. Would you see it knowing that?

Well I don't know how they would "fix" it. The plot itself is pretty inane.
