getting a ticket to this seems impossible [and out of my price range] so the question I'm wondering:
has there been any talk of this being recorded for an eventual release?

I'd be able to swing the $75 seats as living in New Orleans I'd also have to buy an air ticket & hotel

We're going to wait until Bruce leaves and see the show with whoever replaces him.
But to answer your question, there will be bootlegs out there. MANOMAN will there be bootlegs out there.
