Forgive me if there is another thread on this play, but after a search, I could only find references in threads of a different topic.

Last night I saw Buyer and Cellars. Wow! What a wonderful, fun evening in the theater. Michael Urie is superb and his evocation of the "Buyer" is magic. I know that most of the work is fiction, but I so wanted it to be true.

I am very curious to know if Ms. Streisand has seen this production. I can't imagine performing this knowing that she is in the house. Yet, I thought it an extremely loving interpretation, as Jonathan Tolins writes her with such affection, intimacy and vulnerability.

Brilliant work. I highly recommend seeing this.

It was under the show's actual title, Buyer and Cellar

Words don't deserve that kind of malarkey. They're innocent, neutral, precise, standing for this, describing that, meaning the other, so if you look after them you can build bridges across incomprehension and chaos. But when they get their corners knocked off, they're no good anymore…I don't think writers are sacred, but words are. They deserve respect. If you get the right ones in the right order, you can nudge the world a little.

Before starting this thread, I did a search on "Buyer and Cellar". The "and" and not the use of the "&" did me in.

Thanks for the link. I'll go read now.
