Did any of the shows that performed today give out anything, like Mary Poppins, Stomp, and Hairspray all did last week? just wondering & if they did what did they give out? Just interested to know.

BillyLawlor, I'm with ya on Montego Glover!

Cannot rave enough about her performance. As a big LaChanze fan, I will say...there were moments that definitely rivaled LaChanze's "I'm Here". Give this girl the role on a permanent basis! Whew.

Does anyone know when they announce if it's cancelled? Or is it just show up and if it's raining, it's off? Any advance notice?

Wicked gave out fans ... And Fantasticks gave out vouchers for $15 off a ticket. I'm not sure if SA or The Color Purple gave out anything ...

On the Bryant Park website (bryantpark.org) it is listed officially as cancelled. They won't reschedule - there are no rain dates for the Broadway in Bryant Park series.

No, they gave-out almost nothing. Some got a "Wicked" fan but I got skipped. Last year, there were lots of freebies, including lip saver, flashlights, etc. I guess they're on tight budgets. "The Color Purple" had no fans, either. Incidentally, we flew the "Mary Poppins" kite last weekend at Coney Island on the beach. We had a great time.

I missed the dress rehearsals but saw the entire performance. "The Fantasticks" was good but "Wicked" was fantastic. "The Color Purple" did the exact same songs as last years' performance. Again, they pretended to pick random audience members for "Push the Button". This joke has gotten stale, why not perform some other vocals? My favorite number of all was "Popular" from "Wicked". Sad that this was the last performance in Bryant Park.

I was hoping they would be giving cool stuff out. I was a little disappointed. Ha.

I think the only swag I've ever gotten was fans, tatoos, and blue lipstick (from Mamma Mia!).

Last year, Spelling Bee gave out these great little composition notebooks that were the size of memo books (tiny, but adorable). They didn't do it this year, though.

Does anyone have any footage of "As Long as You're Mine" they want to share with me. There is some on YouTube, but it's only 1 minute long.

I'll be your best friend. re: Bway in Bryant Park

What show was this from? I have the whole 2007 Bryant Park series on tape and can post it on youtube. Unfortionately I just moved and now the tape from the 2nd week is missing re: Bway in Bryant Park I'll find it eventually. Please don't PM me asking to buy the series, I will not take profits from a FREE event!

Interestingly enough, Sebastian did more of the groping this time. They were sickeningly adorable- holding hands and he put his arm around her, and at the end he picked her up and carried her off.

Girl, someone put some of ALAYM on YouTube. I'm so mad when she said "Kiss me to fiercely..." Bastian actually acted as if he was going to do just that. And then Jules points to him and looks at the audience as if to say: "Look at this nut!" Someone already made the same observation on YouTube and commented as much.

LOL. Too cute. Too much fun.
