Elaine stritch is a fan of the spandex. Saw her once wearing brown spandex stirrup pants. I don't care who you are, you should not wear brown spandex.

The only Tony award Ms. Stritch has one is for Special Theatrical Event.

She SHOULD have won for COMPANY.

paradox_error, I saw Stritch in COMPANY and I saw Helen Gallagher in NO NO NANNETTE...........Trust me, The Tony race for best actress in a musical could not have even been close that year.......HELEN GALLAGHER in NO NO NANNETTE was simly amazing and unforgettable. Stritch nor any of the other nominees had a chance against the extraordinary performance Gallagher gave in NO NO NANNETTE. Helen Gallagher won the TONY that year and she should have been given the key to the city for her performance.

Actually, Stritch perhaps should have been nominated in the supporting category for COMPANY. Although, she would have had rough going against the winner that year, Patsy Kelley from NO NO NANNETTE who stole every scene she was in.
