Hey... I was listening to the all Broadway radio station on Sirius Satelitte Radio, and they played a song that I think was called "Bye Bye Blackbird". Can anyone tell me what shows it's from????

It's an old popular song from the 20's that's been in several revues through the years -- most recently, "Fosse." But it's been recorded literally hundreds of times, so without hearing the version, I couldn't tell you.

I love the all-Broadway station on SIRIUS - I have it on my TV right now. I really wish the show names were listed. The name of the song is listed and the name or names of who is singing, but alas, no show name.

LOVE love LOVE the version in "Fosse."
Joe Cocker also does another one of my favorties; his is at a much, much slower tempo, and works more as a soft rock anthem.
