We all know that when a professional production of a play or musical is being performed in New Yrok City, the rights for that property are usually withdrawn for all productions within a 70 mile radius of the city. Right? Then how is the Airport Playhouse in Bohemia (Long Island), New York presenting a production of CAT ON A HOT TIN ROOF right now while the play is being presented at the Music Box Theater in NYC. Bohemia is only about 70 miles east of Manhattan. The Airport version of the play runs until February 1st.
maybe someone thought there should be a really good Maggie playing somewhere near NYC since they couldn't get a really good one to be IN NYC.

"A really good Maggie" at the Airport Playhouse? Please!!! This is a theater which is run by a married couple who think they are Alfred Lunt and Lynne Fontainne. I'm sure the reason this play is being done at that particular theater is because Mrs Airport wanted to play Maggie.
Probably this production is unauthorized.
