CATS - A Question

I've been out of the states for quite some time. Utmost apologies. Had opened a production of OLIVER, and then, the morning after opening, had a flight out of NY.

For those who've seen CATS at the Simon, is the stage high for the show? Would my view be obstructed any sitting so close as Row A?

Honestly not the ideal seat but the stage is raked a fair amount so you won't miss anything. Obviously for a production like this a mezz seat is better. I have seen the production three times now twice from center orchestra row P and from row T and once from the rear center mezz row S and preferred the rear mezz to the orchestra. But I guess it's more about personal preference

Yes, the 6 performers in the Playbill as Cat Chorus are in the basement singing the full score. The group is 2 of the swings, the 2 Grizabella understudies, and the 2 Deutoronomy/Gus understudies.
