What's frightening is that Reagan actually looks like a saint compared to who is in the White House now.

Nancy was cast in the role of the Stage Manager/Maid. Ronnie played the lead, George Spelvin.

yeah, i'm a little skeeved by Bushy. He makes his dad look even better. Personally, the Bush who would get my vote is Barbara. She was brilliant last night on Leno, and the excerpt of her book (was that in TIME? or NEWSWEEK?) indicated a very good writer. Loved her observance of Gore during her son's Inauguration. The woman just gets it. Too bad her son didn't inherit that.

A local reviewer reviewed it. He said it lame beyond belief . Judy Davis played Nancy Reagan ala Faye Dunaway in Mommie Dearest & said she chewed the scenery more. He also said Brolin's acting was wooden ( what a shock). The head suit at CBS ( not exactly a conservative) said it did not show a fair & balanced portrait of the Reagans. With Babs at the helm, what a shock.

Barbara Bush is a gorgon. A loathesome, nasty snobbish old woman. At least Nancy liked oral sex.

Ronald Reagan was a great man who is an American patriot and hero. Don't forget he was a liberal until he saw the truth in the average working man during his speech tours and changed views. He has done amazing things and that should be portrayed. I know you liberals will tell me otherwise but I don't have to listen to anything but the truth and I already know it. God Bless Ronald Reagan.

Yeah, I agree with Master. Reagan looks ... well, presidential compared to the "compassionate conservative" we now have, who won't go to funerals of fallen soliders because it will make his ugly war look like something other than a Haliburton video game. The Times today says he doesn't want to be associated with "the daily body count..." and was "offended" by the way Clinton "exploited" military funerals. Presidential, huh? Ronnie and Nancy were like the Perons to me, but at least they showed at funerals and hugged soldiers' widows.

Politics aside (what a silly statement that is), who here didn't want to see the great Judy Davis -- remember her in Woody's films, and her Garland? -- play Nancy, demanding new china and covering up for Juan, er, Ronnie's, memory lapses? We'd get everything but "Don't Cry For me, Foggy Bottom," and I for one would watch.

What I love is that I can be completely politically diametrically opposed to everything Sumof believes, and I can still like him personally, or whatever the equivalent is online. I mean, I don't BELIEVE what he's willing to overlook, but he's Sumof.

Nancy packed a piece.

Yeah I respect everything you guys think. I'm no Ann Coulter (she's just waaaaaaaay out there). But I have done a lot of research and reading on Reagan. I have read books by liberal and conservative authors and Reagan had his pro's and con's. I believe however he is an American hero and patriot. I believe that you guys holding any views makes you good Americans because thats more than what many can say.

My family knew Reagan when he was Gov of California and I have a picture of me sitting on his lap. He was a very nice person and even though I did not agree with his politics, I still liked Reagan the man.

Now Bush... any type of BUSH scares me.
Bring back the cigar smokin' dress messin' president. Sure he was a whore but our country was doing well.
