They skewered everybody & everything in sight from Daniel Davis' firing to MAC. Wonderfully on-top & topical revue-like. Would that they could do this everynight. As demonstrated last evening, Busch & Halston would certainly be able to handle nightly topics.

I wish I could give them either the smallest Bway theatre (is it The Music Box) or 1 of the theatres at Playwrights' & keep them going.

Rebecca Luker's "Why Was I Born" was simply divine. Brent Barrett let 'er rip on stage. Phyllis Newman's take on Katherine Hepburn on the nose. Mario Cantone a hoot. The "dancing boys" adorable.

I was at a rehearsal for The Tale of the Allergist's Wife last night and the director mentioned this was going on. Thanks to BWW, I already knew. re: CHARLES BUSCH/JULIE HALSTON Actors Fund Benefit - 3/28

It was so much fun!
What an amazing cast. And the costumes!
I hurt myself from laughing so hard and for so long.
Do it again but don't wait 20 years.
Please!
I especially loved the scenery in Sodom. re: CHARLES BUSCH/JULIE HALSTON Actors Fund Benefit - 3/28

WHAT AN AMAZING NIGHT! I must say--it's so wonderful to see some true theater veterans performing in a classy evening with beautiful gowns, boys, music arrangements, boys, ...you know! I am sad that there were other events last night cause everyone could have used a night like this to shake things up! I do hope that Charles and Julie do another even like this...or limited run. All that work put into gowns, projections, and original music played by an amazing 8 piece band that sounded like 30 (kudos to the musical director) should not go to waste!!! Anyone who is not familiar with CB and JH and maybe doesn't think it's their cup of tea---you must see their work..it's just a great evening!!

I have loved Charles' work for years and am beginning to get Julie also...Charles is pretty friggin brilliant - I wish that production of Mame he did would have played in the city - we need that kind of entertainment!

"I don't really get the ending, all i can go with is when after several months,Judith saw Pat sang, and later she kissed him on the toilet, after that the story back to where Pat went down from the stage after he'd sung, and he went to the italian lady.I just don't get it,what Judith exatcly meant when he kissed Pat that she had seen, and did Pat end up together with The Italian Lady? Please help me,thank u very much!" Quote from someone on IMDB in reference to a movie he/she didn't understand. Such grammar!
