I have tickets for the December 26 show. Anyone know what the cast will be at that point?

Brenda Braxton as Velma is the only castmember we know for sure at this time.

Did you really need to open your foul mouth again?
God, you're worse than I was when Melanie Griffith was Roxie... and even *I* finally got over that.

How do you know what I was talking about? What was foul about it? Was Melanie still in the show before you got over it? I bet so.

We went to Chicago for the second time on Sunday afternoon. It has been almost two years since we last saw it and once again, it is awesome. Wayne Brady did a fabulous job as well as the entire ensemble. One particular scene that is our favorite is the juror. He actually cracked Wayne up on Sunday, Wayne shook his hand and went right on where they left off. I was not at all disappointed in the leads or any of the cast. Highly recommend it. This show has so much energy!
i love brenda! she's the best !!

Wow, what a name!
CJR, I think I've asked you this before, but I don't remember the annswer (sorry)- Do you know when Anne L. Nathan's last day is?
I went back to see Melanie twice because I couldn't stop laughing. Something about her was very seductive and magical. It worked. But I'm not a big fan of Brenda as Velma...I can't watch her for too long.

Off the top of my head I do not. Telecharge should say, but if it doesn't, I'll find out when I get into my office tomorrow.

Brenda is the eonly real Velma. We need more black chicks playing in CHICAGO. Too many white people have done it like Bebe Neuwirth and Melanie Grifith. I am white though. lol As soon as Terra McCleshod is out of the show Broadway will be repaired since we have the god awful Jenny Fellner out of MAMMA MIA! also.

Get over it, bronx.
And Roxane Carrasco can sing and dance rings around Brenda. Don't go saying Brenda is the only real Velma unless you have the grounds to back it up..... you dont

Personally I think the standout performer among the ensemble is Michelle DeJean. I would love to see her be able to step up to the major parts.

Michelle covers Roxie.

I noticed Belle Callaway is back as an understudy. When I first saw the show in January 2003, she was Roxie. I could not imagine anyone else in that role...until Sunday. I really liked Charlotte. Excellent portrayal.
Oh and R.Lowe as Mary Sunshine...incredible!
Telecharge shows the leads all leaving by Nov. 28, except Anne Nathan.
"Terra C. MacLeod as Velma thru 11/21
Charlotte d'Amboise as Roxie thru 11/28
Anne Nathan as Matron "Mama" Morton 9/13 - 12/12
Wayne Brady as Billy Flynn thru 11/28
P.J. Benjamin as Amos thru 11/28
D. Sabella as Mary Sunshine thru 11/28"

Who'll be taking over from Wayne? Anyone special, or just someone from the Chicago reserves?

Hasn't been announced yet. When it is, I'll post it.
Bronx, don't count your chickens before they hatch -- leads tend to extend their runs.

Charlotte D'Amboise is the best Roxy I've ever seen.
