"Karen Ziemba's voice and dancing are at their best and I am surprised her name is not above the title, she truly steals the spotlight with every new number."

Posted: 11/15/06 at 2:08amShow is too long.. edward hibbert was outstanding!!! stole every scene. David was very likable and a great actor. Karen didn't have much to do, in fact I got a little bored with her and she is soo damn good.. it just seems like that role was meant for a no name.. dont waste karen on this!! Debra monk was great although her jokes were tired, forced and old hat. It was a good show but not kander and ebb's best. Its clever in the right spots and fun but overall just 'meh'.

Those who responded to THE DROWSEY CHAPERONE will respond to this.
The ONLY thing I'll comment on is, you would NEVER know it was a Kander & Ebb show if they didn't tell you beforehand.

Posted: 11/15/06 at 2:25amYou really think CURTAINS will be GREY GARDENS' only competition? I have heard far better things about SPRING AWAKENING than about CURTAINS.

Posted: 11/15/06 at 2:29amI haven't seen GREY, but from what I've read (from people who's view I respect) there is NO, NO, NO comparison.
