The front tables are the best for obvious reasons - close-ups of the actors, the girls chat with you before the opening number, cigarette smoke blown at your face...
I sat at the front side tables two weeks ago, and some guy behind me passed out during the Act 1 finale!

I sat at THE front table (as in, as front and center as possible) this past weekend, and had I not already seen the show, I would have been far more uncomfortable than I was (and I was!). I'm a huge Adam Pascal fan, and practically having him in my lap at the end of "Two Ladies" was definitely a treat, but some of the stuff that goes on so close is a bit much to handle! Plus, a lot happens RIGHT there, so you kind of miss things going on because what's happening in front of you is so distracting and in your face.
So, if it's your first time, I saw shoot for seats a little further back, maybe the back section of the tables (if you can request so specifically), or the front mezzanine. It'll be easier to take it all in, while still enjoying seeing everything close up.
