How did the original Cabaret end? I saw the revival so I know that ends but it the original end the same way?

Thanks

The cast sings the finale. Herr Schultz, Fraulein Schneider (Ernst? I think as well) and Sally speak various lines from the show. Finally, Sally is raised up on a chair and repeats the final chorus of the title song. The emcee does "Auf Wiedersehen. A bientot" and it's over.
