Cabaret Question

Looking up the show and I have been wondering: How much time elapses from the beginning to end of Cabaret? A few months, a year? Thanks

About four months. These are the only time line points I can think of off the top of my head (*spoilers ahead, obviously):

-The show begins on New Year's Eve.
-Sally moves in with Cliff the next day, January 1st.
-Sally gets pregnant in February (there is a mention that the baby is due in November). I'd guess she learns that she's pregnant and tells Cliff about the baby in March or April.
-Schultz and Schneider get engaged in April. (The night before they decide to get married, Schneider confronts Kost about her sailors, and Kost says "It's only my second one since New Year's, and what is it now? April.")
-It's implied that Schultz and Schneider's engagement party takes place very shortly after they get engaged--I've always assumed it is the next day.
-Schultz and Schneider then break up the day after the engagement party.
-Their breakup coincides with Cliff leaving Berlin and Sally having the abortion, so I'd say the play ends only a couple days after the engagement party.

Whew. That was fun.
