How come I can find a zillion Liza tapes of Cabaret but none for the 1998 version with the sexy Alan Cummings. Why do they release one but not the other? What is the criteria? Can i get a copy of the Lion King broadway production?

The Liza Minelli tape was not of a stage production. It was of the feature film of "Cabaret." There are recordings made of Broadway productions but they are not for sale. They are kept in the Lincoln Center Library and you can go there to view them but only if you have a good excuse. If you are able to obtain a video recording of any Broadway show...it is likely that it was illegally made and it is illegal to purchase.

you are wealth of information. It is appreciated. Who knows maybe someday I will get to see a broadway production for real instead of just reading about it!
