Calling all Drowsy Fans !

Congrats to Jersey Boys for it's win last night. (at least it beat out The Color Purple) I wouldn't of been able to watch Oprah up there gloating on another one of her fabulous accomplishments. (just because her money was in it)

But come on Drowsy fans and groupies.....and non-Drowsy fans as well...Drowsy is what Broadway musicals are all about.
So new, so fresh, so different, so original. It was robbed! Especially after winning the awards it did last night...it should of been honored with best musical... hands down.
Jersey Boys is more of a concert of The Four Seasons songs.
Like we have asked on other threads....Who are these voters?

I'm very pissed that Drowsy didn't win Jersey Boys makes no sense to me, if I want to hear those songs I'll just buy one of their cds.

OK - I agree with you. Drowsy is a totally original idea and it is done well - hence the awards it did get. It is not a juke-box musical of rock and roll re-treads - it is an original and fun show and deserved the award. Someone asked if I wanted to see Jersey Boys - my answer is 'no' - I grew up on the music, I grew up in NJ and I don't want to go backwards.

So, thank you Bob Martin for an original and totally hilarious show!
