Hey I was curious if there are any camp broadway veterans out there? NY and tour camps. I went to the one in Atlanta for 3 years and was a counselor the 4th year

We were split up into 4 groups and I only really knew the people in my group...so probably not...but yes- that was the Bob Hope song.

I was there August 03 as well...which group were you in (who was your group leader?)...I did masterclass this past summer- it was fun and a lot more challenging than the normal program.

I was in the co-ed older group (I think it was the dodgers). I'm guessing you were in the nederlanders?

Little Dancer who was your group leader? Was it Canedy? Because if y'all did a mix between You're a Good Man and Chicago, then my sister's group did the exact same thing in Atlanta 2003, with the detention tango! Wierd, I thought they tried to make a different one in every city. That's so lazy if she did that.

I am trying to go to that this summer, the Master Class. I have everything all set and just need to mail it out. I'm glad to hear you guys liked it, because since its pretty expensive if I go its nice to hear positive feedback!

What is Broadway? A street? Some say it's a street. Some say it is the best street in the world. Others think its terrible. That's the beauty of it, it's terribly beautiful. Some hate it and don't know why. Others love it and don't know why. That's what makes it so wonderful, it's a mystery.

my best friend went to the master class and he had such a good time. I admit I think it's overpriced but if you can, then go for it!

Yes- Canedy was my group leader. We were thinking up of ideas for the gypsy showcase thing...and she told us how one of her groups did the Detention Tango in another city, and we all really liked the idea- so we wrote our own. We were going to do like...Movin Out and Beauty and the Beast...or something like that. Hah- but then we liked the Detention Tango better...

Masterclass was a blast! I would recommend it to anyone.

Haha! Oh Canedy, she rocks like a boulder, I love her! Bill Newberry is so cool too, he lives like an hour from me here in GA but man he rocks! The whole staff pretty much is great!
My sister was Linus with the blanket thing, it was so funny and that's pretty funny y'all did that! I love the Hunyak thing with the teacher!

You were in Springtime for Simba? Funny...cuz I was Simba in Springtime for Simba re: Camp Broadway. Feel free to PM me and talk!

Anyway....I've done the normal programs August 2003 and 2004. They're fun to do and all, but if you're looking to do more serious work, do the masterclass. I wish I could've done it this past year, but I applied too late re: Camp Broadway.
