#1Can A Student Buy Rush Tix for Non Student?

Hey, I would really appreciate if someone could help me answer this question. I would like to buy 2 student rush tickets (one for me and one for a family member who is clearly no longer a college student). I was wondering if this would be a problem since I am the one buying the tickets with my student id.
I was thinking of doing this for either Jersey Boys or Mamma Mia.
Thanks in advance!!

You're allowed to do this, but be WARNED for Jersey Boys. If they give you front row right side, if the seats are all the way to the corner, you will have an EXTREMELY LIMITED view. The stairs, which is a part of the stage is right in front of you blocking, ALMOST ENTIRELY your view. :
I had these seats before, and they didn't even stamp our tickets to declare Limited view. But I got lucky. the people next to us left after Act1, so we scooted down to a more comfortable view. :)

Yea, I heard that the seats to Jersey Boy are all the way off to the side but I still really want to see it.
Also, I know that in the past Jersey Boys would put a mark on student rush tickets, so that once you got to the theater you had to show your student id to use the ticket. Has anyone rushed them lately? Are they still doing this? I just want to be sure that the older family member of mine who I am buying tickets for (I am a student but she is not) will not be kicked out of the theater for having a student rush ticket.
Thanks guys!!

Rushed in June 2011 and they didn't check for ID. :) I'm sure you will be fine.
IF and IF they pester you, which I highly doubt, just say your brother was supposed to go, but couldn't make it, etc.
Have fun. I thought it was fantastic.
