I was in a terrible production, and I saw the Chita tour. It's a nice score. simple fluff that can be done in a colorful cartoon style.

I was in a community theater producion of "Can Can" not too long ago. It's a nice show that has some very funny moments, however the dancing usually steals the show.

Caught last night at "Encores". Rates with one of their best presentations. LuPone GREAT!! Rest of cast very, very, good! Dancing very good! Very worth seeing!!

Dear friend, CAN CAN is a musical. It has a great Cole Porter score. Things don't get any more musical than that!

i hope a cast album is made of this concert. i just read the review on broadway.com and patti lupone was awsome!! i want to here her belt those songs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! she need to come back to broadway in a full scale musical!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111 :)

Well believe it or not, Luv, there are some, or at least one, frequent poster on this board that does not know some shows are musicals and some are straight plays. I kid you not. So when one post an erroneous message of what they think they meant, why would one then feel a clarification was inappropiate and not helpful?

Or is one just attempting to take an inappropiate shot at someone?

If you MEANT that Patti LuPone should be starring in a Broadway musical with an open-ended run, you should have said so. Instead, your posting left you open for criticism. Learn to be specific. Remember, there is an English teacher present!
