I know girls are able to mix, which allows them to hit higher notes without straining. Can guys do this? I can sort of hit a G comfortably, and I have hit as high as a C, but I'd love to be able to hit A's without strain by mixing. Can guys do this? Is it possible for me to be able to mix an A that can sound powerful, but with little strain? Any tips/help? Let me know!

I think so. I can sing higher notes by using some head voice, but I'm not completely into my falsetto. I don't know how it is done, though.

I never even heard of that before, I take it's a mix of real and falsetto voice?????? HMMMM, I have no idea how to do that......
MTVMANN, for women, mixing is using partial head and partial chest voice. Depending where the note is, more head voice is used than chest voice or vice versa.

men can do it too. i mix sometimes. a lot in rehearsal. never in performance because if you can do it in mix you can do it full! but yeah, it's bringing in your head voice, but not turning completely into falsetto.
