Did the production of Candide with Kristin Chenoweth and Pattie Lupone record a CD? My uncle taped it off of PBS and gave it to me and I thought the cast was amazing! I was looking for a CD... but none of the recordings live up to the performers in this show.

I don't believe they made a CD, but the official PBS DVD is scheduled to come out relatively soon

My copy of the DVD was shipped today.

Really? Nice; I'll have to get a copy of that. That production's version of "Make Our Garden Grow" was...amazing. I'm a sucker for big choral/orchestral numbers.

It was really the first time I had seen the show... I had sort of heard of it, but not much. I'm trying to convince my director to do it at my school!! lol So it's probably not possible... but it would be sweet! Sweeter than "Bye Bye Birdie"... vomits...
