THE MAN I LOVE was written by George and Ira as THE GIRL I LOVE for LADY BE GOOD, but was dropped, It became THE MAN I LOVE in STRIKE UP THE BAND. It became a standard torch song sung by every girl singer known to man.

Do "C'est Moi" from Camelot in character as Carmen. It works. "Had I been made the partner of Eve...We'd be in Eden still!"
