i keep hearing she has a play (not HOLLYWOOD ARMS) coming up that she's starring in, with a male name opposite...anyone know which project this is?

It's her one man (woman) show based on the life of Harvey Korman!

Working title is "ME AND MRS. WIGGINS" !

most likely its "Once Upon a Mattress" with Marisa (sp?) from Hairspray.. Its gonna be a tv special for next year sometime... It is still in the works though of getting everything finalized...(I believe)

One of the funniest songs/skits he did on Carol's show was about a middle-age swinger who finds out to his horror that he needs bifocal eyeglasses.

i know they've been kicking around MATTRESS with Burnett directing (as she did at UCLA) and playing the Queen, but i got the impression this was a legit play, more along the lines of MOON OVER BUFFALO.

As I mentioned in the other thread, Carol said at her book signing that she and Julie Andrews are planning to do a TV special together.
Also, Hollywood Arms may become either a TV show, or a TV movie.

Actually she said that her and Julie were talking about (as in throwing around the idea) of doing another show together...nothing definite.
