Carol's ashes will be interred at this time next year in San Francisco-her birthplace. She will be buried on what would have been her 100th birthday

I recall reading that she wanted them to be buried between the Geary and Curran Theaters. And that such a thing was illegal in SF. (No burials since they were cleared out early last century.)
BUT that Carole Shorenstein Hays was managing the memorial. (Which made it likely that the ashes could be put in or under the Curran).
Do you have more to share?
...and I'm sure that she will be memorialized in a way which will be wonderfully appropriate, which makes me happy!
