Go for it. She's a legend's legend, is still very entertaining in concert (tons of funny anecdotes), and I can't imagine you'll have too many more opportunities to see her perform live. You'll have a fun time.

I feel like this might be a once in a lifetime opportunity - besides she seemed so crazy at the tonys that she'd have to be entertaining!
I didn't even know about this! I wanna go!!!!!!

You think LL Cool J will show up and rap with her?
I would want me money back if he didn't. Of course I would much rather see 50 Cent make a guest appearance.

I hear Carol can still roll a mean blunt.
That would explain a lot.

She'll be fine if she can just stay away from the chronic.
That's like telling my family to stay away from the chinese buffet after temple.
Do go and tell us all about it. I had tickets for last week in Portland but she cancelled.

I probably will go... just because it's Carol and how many times will this opportunity arise... kind of like LuPone coming here to do "Matters of the Heart" for 5 days!! I'm going to that!! She'd better do the 'stage door' thing!!

I saw an earlier version of TGC's show when it was called SINGULAR SENSATION. It was marvelous! She not only tells stories about her life in the theater, she impersonates the people she's talking about. Her versions of Merman, Ann Miller and Yul Brynner are right-on. Besides, the stories are downright hilarious!
By all means, see it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
TGC is the sun, the mon and the stars all rolled into one!
