Last night at Carolee Carmello's concert she said that she was cast in a American tour of Funny Girl in the 90s but ended up getting her contract pulled when the star cast as Nicky dropped out to do a movie. Anyone know who the original star was? I couldn't find it in the Playbill.com archives. Oh and it was the same tour that ended up going out with Debbie Gibson and getting canceled half way through from what I understand.
