i bought it yesterday afternoon at wonderful town....i was quite displeased....it wasnt what i expected, most of the songs were the downbeat Christmas carols and not the upbeat ones that are most popular. the highlight for me was Christmas Wrapping by the Wicked cast. in any case, it was a mitzvah, a donation to broadway cares.

I really love it. "Xmas Wrapping" is great and so it "Holy and the Ivy" by Aida. Those are my two favs... but overall there are pretty good song choices and all the casts sound wonderful.

I buy it every year, and if you ask me last years is the best one. I enjoy it every year but this year didn't live up to my love for last years. Still a worthy buy though, it goes to BC/EFA and it sounds great.

And hang on, when did you win the discus?

Silly me!

When I saw the title of thi thread, I thought that Carol Channing, Carol Lawrence and Carol Burnett had discovered a cure for some dreaded illness.

Just bought it. I'm about to listen to it right now!

Why do we play with fire? Why do we run our fingers through the flame? Why do we leave our hands on the stove, although we know we're in for some pain? -tick...tick...BOOM!

I apologize for my ignorance, but where can I pick up this year's Carols for a Cure? I've been wanting to write an article on it for a local newspaper, and my deadline's fast approaching (shame on me), so I was wondering where I might be able to pick it up.

You can buy it on the BC/EFA website, in some stores/shows in NYC, or CDUniverse.com. Enjoy!

I've only listened to bits and pieces as I downloaded it onto my computer to then download on my iPod. I liked the Fruitcake song by Lion King.

I really enjoy "Up on the Housetop" and "Hello Christmas." I really like the original songs they have included on these CDs. But I think last year's edition was the best one to date.

"Good King Wenceslas" is pretty funny...kinda reminds me of "Waiting for Guffman."

"Johnny cheated. Frankie killed him. Johnny cheated so Frankie killed him. Shot and killed him. Don't blame her - I'd have done it, too."

Who from Chicago did the duet?
