Hi
Does anyone know of a website that tells details of Carousel? I tried doing a yahoo search and the sites didn't help much. If not, can anyone talk about it? My boyfriend's family is what the play is about ( I think). His great grandmother was a Snow.
Thanks in advance

The Snows are famous for their Clam Chowder, you can still buy it the store). I think Carrie was my BF's great- great grandmother. R&H interviewed his family when they were doing their research.

Sueleen, you are a wonder. What's the use of wondering about that?
Wiggum, as you may know, Mister Snow, a herring fisherman, is a character in CAROUSEL and he and Carrie had about 5 or 6 children.
I had no idea Mister Snow might be based on real people.

I've read in the movie credits that the play was based on the stage musical that was based on Ferenc Molnar's play "LILIOM". Anyone know about LILIOM?
It's a pity that no video/DVD or CD was released from the Carnegie Hall concert of CAROUSEL ( Hugh Jackman, Audra McDonald) in 2002.
