I was just wodnering who sings If I Loved You In Carousel. I read that a man sang it but does Julie reprise it as well? If so, how old is the character Julie approximately? Thanks!

They both sing the song........Julie sings it first and then the man sings it next. I wanna say that Julie is a teenager at the time.

"If I Loved You" is part of a wonderful musical sequence between the two main characters, Billy & Julie. Both have the chance to sing one of Rodgers most beautiful melodies as they hypothesize about what it would be like "if" they loved each other. Of course as they imagine these events, we see their relationship begin. Amazing !!
