Cast Albums of the Season

It seems to me that multiple shows have recorded cast albums and are just sitting on them, does anyone know why that is?  Like I think I saw on social media that MJ, Mrs. Doubtfire, and Paradise Square had recorded their albums but I've heard no release dates for any of them, and in the case of the latter two, it seems like it would've been a good marketing tool for shows that aren't doing as well in the box office.  I know there's a bit of production time that needs to happen after the album is recorded, but I feel like usually we'd have more information about an estimated release by now (and Paradise Square originally said May for their release)
