Tonya Pinkins: Then we had a "Lot's Wife" last June that was my personal favorite. I'm still trying to get them to let me sing it at some performance where we get to sing an excerpt that's gone.

Posted: 1/6/08 at 2:51amI actually thought there was a strong chance it wouldn't happen since he chose not to do Hairspray at the Globe and he recently stepped down from Artistic Director to Director Emeritus.

Posted: 1/6/08 at 3:37amIt seems strange that Tom Wopat is cast as Sr Frank Abagnale seeing as he's in A Catered Affair this spring. I wouldn't think he would already be slated for a role in Catch Me when A Catered Affair hasn't even opened.

They want Frank Jr to be in his 20's but able to play late teens. The equity website gives this description:
[FRANK JR.] Male, 20s to play late teens. A young, intelligent, seductive con artist extraordinaire who can outsmart almost anyone. A man of all trades who poses as an airline pilot, doctor, and attorney, cashing millions in fraudulent checks. Learns his conning ways from his father, whom he idolizes. They have announced their summer season up to Sept. But nothing beyond that.
