I'm trying the rush tomorrow, any suggestions as to what time I should arrive? I was thinking 10 since the bo opens at noon but my friend says 8 which seems too early. thanks!

this Wednesday I got to the box office around 12:30 and got 4 great seats for the 8:00 performance

This Wednesday I got to the box office 10 minutes before the matinee and got a seat in the center mezz row P. Good view.

just to clarify, were those student rush tickets right?

I got a student rush ticket two weeks ago. I showed up to the theater around 10:00 AM and easily got a ticket for the evening performance (Mezzanine - Row R - Dead Center).

I did student rush a couple Saturdays ago. Got there at 9:00 and was sixth in line. There were probably about 15 of us there by 10:00. They had two lines going - one for the matinee, one for the evening. It was cash only,which I wasn't aware of, but luckily I had cash on me. The box office guy was actually really nice about it and even put aside two tickets for the two girls who had been first in line while one of the girls went to go get cash from a nearby ATM.

I rushed last month for a Wed matinee, got there at like 9:58 and me and my friend got three tickets in row N, dead center. Fine view. We were like 20ish or so in line, I think.

The box office guy I dealt with that day was super nice. He sold two tickets to one guy who realized at the last minute he didn't have his student ID on him. He was clearly young enough to be a student, so I thought that was nice he gave him a break.

thanks everyone, We got there today at about 10 but no one else was there so we ran around the corner for a bite and came back about 10:30 and within a few minutes about 6 other people showed up.

My recent experience: got in late off a train on Friday, went to the box office at around 4:30 on a whim figuring it was worth a shot, and ended up with a pretty decent Mezz seat.

Got to the theatre at 915 (Sat 6/11/11 and was like 12th in line). Got Mezz row S left for the evening show.
