"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

Captain, you must be so excited.

I'm seeing it in Charlotte this weekend. I saw the first performance last September in CA.

I gotta get to NY to see this, Spelling Bee, and a bunch of other shows.

I am hoping to take joeyjoe to see this - I saw the it the last time it touched down at the Marquis and was spellbound by it.

"I don't really get the ending, all i can go with is when after several months,Judith saw Pat sang, and later she kissed him on the toilet, after that the story back to where Pat went down from the stage after he'd sung, and he went to the italian lady.I just don't get it,what Judith exatcly meant when he kissed Pat that she had seen, and did Pat end up together with The Italian Lady? Please help me,thank u very much!" Quote from someone on IMDB in reference to a movie he/she didn't understand. Such grammar!

This is exciting!! I love her Peter. And this production always gives me goosebumps.

I especially love the brilliantly staged (and politically correct) Uggawugg (sp?????) number. And of course the flying gets me every time.

I thought Denise DiRenzo was a better Peter. Talk about a talented woman! I wish she would quit playing Mom and get her butt back to Broadway!

"For me, THEATRE is an anticipation, an artistic rush, an emotional banquet, a jubilant appreciation, and an exit hopeful of clearer thought and better worlds." ~ an anonymous traveler with Robert Burns
