Cats Audience Interaction

Hello! I was wondering what the audience interactions are like in the show. I am so excited to see Cats and I was just wanting to know how many times they come out in the audience. 

Also, please share your interaction stories please :)

So a few times the cast will go up and down the aisles in both the orchestra and the mezzanine, I forget exactly how many times. During Rum Tum Tugger, for a while (not sure if he still does it), he would come into the aisle between center and right orchestra and take pictures with audience members (another cast member had a prop piece that looked like a camera that had an IPad in it). Other than that, I can't remember anything else.

1.Overture (flashing eyes )

2. Naming of Cats ( Audience interaction with eye contact and physical contact ) 

3. Tugger ( Tugger, Misto, Jenny are in the audience for the tugger picture which happens in the right of center aisle between the first row and row D.)

4. Old Deuteronomy ( Misto, Victoria and obviously Old Deut. All happens in the same row as the tugger picture.)

5. Beginning of Act Two ( Every aisle in the orchestra)

6. Magical Mistoffelees ( Every Aisle, Audience interaction with eye contact and physical contact )

7. Finale After the Addressing of Cats 

(Every Aisle, Audience interaction with eye contact and physical contact)

If you have any questions about which specific rows certain cats go down let me know!

I was surprised to see that audience members were allowed onstage to take  pictures with Old Deuteronomy, during intermission.

This was done during the original run as well
