Cats Revival-Opening?

When does Cats officially open on Broadway after previews? I had read that August 2nd would be opening night, however Ticketmaster displays that there are no shows on the 2nd and 3rd (leaving either the 1st or 4th as options). If anyone has any information, I would appreciate it!

It's not always accurate because sometimes they're a little behind but it does seem to catch up with the correct info eventually. It probably is not on ticketmaster because they are not selling tickets to opening night. Most shows' openings will not appear on telecharge/ticketmaster.

Most productions never offer tickets to the public for opening night. 

Not sure why they aren't listing anything for August 3, but it might be the case that they're withholding that as a potential opening night if they need to push production forward a day.

Thank you both for your replies! Hm, that makes a bit more sense now. I was gearing towards getting opening night tickets, but I suppose I'll just wait a little while before I make any final decisions.
