Hey guys! I'm really passionate about theatre and I'm currently helping a friend with his academic project on a really interesting topic – the investigation of the role of celebrities in Broadway theatres.
I would assume as theatre lovers you would have a personal opinion on the topic? Would you be willing to help us to progress with our project by filling in this questionnaire http://goo.gl/forms/l9UaobRXB7 and sharing your view?

Done. Would have liked the option to select both the West End and Broadway as usually anywhere between a quarter to half of the shows i see in a year are on Broadway while the rest are West End.

I think it depends on who is the celebrity I doubt many would see Brittany Spears on Broadway but many might buy tickets to Geoffrey Rush. I noticed the question said who would you call a person who is a celebrity. I tend to see people who I seen before or heard good reviews. I loved Angela Lansbury in Driving and am waiting for her to do Chalk. I am holding out until she comes. I am also really wanting to see Lin's Hamilton they are Celebrities because they have done good awesome work previously but I doubt the mass would say that.

I saw Eddie Redmayne in Theory and he was really good and would fly from Aus just to see him in any play. The funny thing is that After Midnight is not running. And that could of done some great singers for the show. I would have gone if they had someone I loved but I also happen to love the concept of the show. I personally thought the show because of this would run forever. I also thing Celebs are used wrongly why does Hugh Jackman keep doing plays and not musicals. He would be amazing in classical musicals. I think he was miscased in the River and the that weird play from Chicago. He would have been excellent in Guys and Dolls
