Celia Keenan-Bolger biography

I doubt there's much biographical information about her out there, but she has a myspace you could try. Also, I know there's video of her in the Broadway.com archives from when she was in Spelling Bee. They had a lunch with 4 or 5 Tony nominees and she talked about her childhood. Also, I know she has been involved in the buisness for awhile, because she said she auditioned for the role of Young Cossette in Les Miserables tour and didn't get it. Hope this helps.

acrocksyo, the project has nothing to do with how much BROADWAY experience she has, just musical theatre experience. I had to find an actor who has played the same kinds of parts I would play, then perform a song they have sung and write a research paper on them. I know that means it will be harder to find info, but I seem to have enough. Thanks, though. =)

Good luck. I'm a pretty big Celia fan, so much that I've searched Google to this extent:



(Yeah, I've got no life. But, the point is, there isn't much info.)

I think her mom died of some kind of heart problem, as I found a page for an institute with her family's names in relation to her, but that was a long time ago and I don't really want to be giving misinformation. If that helps, you could try to dig deeper. That's all I've got biographically, other than what you probably already know.

it's not misinformation.

Their mother did pass away (years ago) from a, I believe, heart disease. Andrew, the youngest sibling, has done a great job producing various Benefits for foundations... I imagine his deseased mother is the inspirtation.

Maggie is the middle child. She is a playwright and actor (check out her webisode series on YouTube).

and Celia is the oldest. SO fabulous. What a charming girl. And amazingly talented too (as you all know).

I've had the pleasure of working with her and she's such a hard worker. She told me she would always be working, practicing, and rehearsing in College (University of Michigan). She wasn't a big partier.

Can't wait to see her in SAVED!
