Character's Ages

I'm trying to find age appropriate material for my Repertoire class at school and am having trouble finding approximate character's ages for musicals that I don't know very well. Any of these that you know?
Jane Eyre-
Lily (Secret Garden)-
Paula (Goodbye Girl)-
Also, does anyone know if Follow the Fleet is just a movie or was it made from a musical cause I found Let Yourself Go in a Musical Theatre book so...

Lily is a ghost who died in childbirth, so she should be early 20's.

Paula has a 12 year old daughter, so she should be mid 30's at least.

Jane Eyre is supposed to be young - early 20's.

Lily could be as young as 16 and as old as maybe 20. She of course is never cast that way, but in Victorian England, she surely would have married by 21.
