wait, is Maureen in the opening number? i can't remember. i know her shadow appears when she's speaking for her answering machine before Joanne's parents' message thing, but that's it.

Carolee Carmello's character in Lestat didn't appear in the second act.

That is the reverse of what you asked for though.

you mean the wizard of OZ not the wizard of OX and Fiyero comes in about a half hour in...so it's not really even half way into the first act (which is 90 minutes).
